The nozzle consists of a cylindrical body portion (12) open at one end which may be immersed in a liquid. A supply conduit (11,15) for steam is situated inside the body, opening (16) into the central region of the length of the body. A narrow passage (13) is formed between the inner wall of the body and the conduit for the admission of air to the body. The conduit is axially movable within the body, with a slight lateral play, and the steam delivery opening (16) is inclined relative to the body's longitudinal axis.
