PURPOSE:To eliminate the degradation of the performance of a cell due to the dissolution into the electrolyte and the precipitation onto the negative electrode of the positive electrode collector by using aluminum containing copper less than a specified amount as the collector of the possible electrode. CONSTITUTION:Aluminum containing copper less than 0.1% is used for the collector 3 of the positive electrode 1 of a cell. Because the deterioration of lithium in the negative electrode 6 is caused by copper in the aluminum, the copper content in the aluminum is made to be less than 0.1% preferably less than 0.05%. Thereby even when the said aluminum is used for the positive electrode collector 3 of a high potential nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell, it does not dissolve into the electrolyte, and the degradation of the cell performance such as the deterioration of the negative electrode 6 or the increase of the internal resistance can be prevented. |
