<p>PURPOSE:To use a coordinate input device of a low resolution, and also, to miniaturize the coordinate input device by providing two kinds of input means of a regular input and a fine input and displaying an inputtable range by a rectangular frame on a display screen of a display device in the case of the fine input. CONSTITUTION:In case of switching a regular input to a fine input, it is switched by picking an icon for its switching. An a means for informing a corresponding varia tion in a corresponding relation of a display screen coordinate of a display device 1 and an input device coordinate of a coordinate input device 5, to an operator, a rectangular frame is displayed on the display screen of the display device 1 so that a pointer (cursor) becomes the center. At this time point, the corresponding relation of the input device coordinate of the coordinate input device before that time and the display screen coordinate of the displace device 1 is switched to the corresponding relation of the input device coordinate of the coordinate input device 5 and the rectan gular frame on the display screen of the display device 1. In such a way, a linear graphic in the rectangular frame on the display screen of the display device 1 can be picked with high accuracy, the coordinate input device of a low resolution can be used, and also, the coordinate input device can be miniaturized.</p> |
