<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently recover a volatile chemical substance from gas by bringing the gas into contact with a structure obtd. by impregnating an absorbent liq. into a foamed, porous, netlike, granular, fibrous or hollow fiber carrier. CONSTITUTION:Gas 1 contg. a volatile chemical substance such as gaseous chlorofluorocarbon is brought into contact with an absorption structure 3 obtd. by impregnating an absorbent liq. which absorbs the volatile chemical substance into a foamed, porous, netlike, granular, fibrous or hollow fiber carrier to absorb and remove the volatile chemical substance. After absorption, the structure 3 can be detached from the cassette type holder 2.</p> |
