PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of toner by providing an engaging guide piece around the innermost edge of the toner replenishing container insertion port of a toner replenishing part, limiting the loading and unloading of a toner replenishing container other than a prescribed position, and restricting the toner replenishing container to rotating freely. CONSTITUTION:The title device is a toner replenishing device, in which cylindrical toner replenishing container 9 possessing a toner discharging opening 20a on a part of its peripheral wall is loaded into the toner replenishing part 7 of a developing device and the engage guide piece 7b is provided around the innermost edge of the toner replenishing container insertion port of the toner replenishing part. The leading edge of the cylindrical toner replenishing container 9 is provided with a first engaging part 21a engaged with the engaging guide piece 7b and restricting the loading and unloading of the toner replenishing container 9 other than the prescribed position, and a second engaging part 21c engaged with the engaging guide 7b and restricting the toner replenishing container 9 to rotating freely. Thus, the toner replenishing case is readily and surely attached to or detached from the toner replenishing part of the developing device, and toner leakage which has occurred on loading and unloading the container, is prevented. |
