PURPOSE:To improve cooling efficiency by arranging water cooling device between position, where movable short side block leaves from a casting belt, and a sprocket for driving at downstream and arranging a draining device having slitted nozzle just after that. CONSTITUTION:The water cooling devices 31 composing of plural cone sprays 32 are arranged between the position, where the blocks 22 for movable short side 21 leave from the casting belt 13 and the driving sprocket 25 at downstream side. Further, the draining device 41 composing of an air header 42 and the slitted nozzle 43 is arranged along the block group around the sprocket 25 at the downstream side. At the early time when the short side 21 leaves from the belt 13, the drainage of the block 22 can be executed, thereby executing the effective drainage in the wide gap between the blocks 22. By this constitution, as the drainage efficiency is improved, the cooling efficiency of the short side block 22 is improved. |
