Such a connection device, on one hand, has to prevent any contamination during the opening of the connector, and on the other hand, the connection of the junction parts should be such that an inadvertent opening, during the dialysis treatment, is practically impossible. This is obtained by interlocking both connection parts (1, 2) by means of a notch closure (4) and by maintaining together both parts by means of a coupling sleeve (3). A safety cam (17) protrudes inside the sleeve (3) against the claws of the notch closure thereby making it impossible to open the closure when the sleeve is screwed. Two channels (10, 11) extend through the connection device, one providing for the circulation of the treatment fluid, and the other one for a disinfectant. Through the outlet orifices (15) provided in the wall of the second channel (11), the desinfectant reaches an empty space (16) which surrounds the connection area of the two connection parts so that said space is always filled with desinfectant, or in case of need, is rinsed by said desinfectant. |
