<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a shape permitting the easy covering of the diseased part of a patient by making a splint member which has ventilating holes and has a dimension permitting the covering of the vicinity of a diseased part by a single or plural pieces and has an adhesive edge which possesses the self adhesion function with an expanded opponent on softening and is made of the plastic having the softening temperature in a specific temperature range. CONSTITUTION:A splint plate member 1 has ventilating holes 3 and a dimension permitting the covering of a diseased part by a single piece or plural pieces, and has an adhesion edge 2 which possesses particulate bodies into plate shape over the softening temperature, and is made of the plastic having a softening point in a range of 50-90 deg.C. In the shaping of the splint, each single body of the splint plate member 1 having a dimension permitting the covering of vicinity of a diseased part by plural pieces is warmed over a softening temperature, and the adhesive edges 2 which are at the edge part of each splint plate member and possesses the adhesive function are formed integrally through the successive adhesion, and a necessary shape is obtained. When the splint plate member 1 is shaped by collecting and forming integrally a number of polymer particle bodies into plate form over the softening temperature, a number of holes formed in the gap between the polymer particles and the particles form the ventilating holes 3 having the superior ventilation performance without using the boring work.</p> |
