The sampler comprises an external (1) and an internal (2) tube interconnected in their upper parts. The external tube is provided with a cap (5) the upper section of which is shaped as a truncated cone (7). An opening (6) for the intake of the metal melt is provided at the part of the truncated cone (7) adjoining the tube (1). A thermocouple (11) is mounted in the lower part of the internal tube (2).
