PURPOSE:To reduce the fatigue of eyes of an observer and to make the size of device small by varying relatively a distance between a display face and the observer through a position correction means and using a display means so as to adjust and display the size and display position of a video image on the display face in response to the fluctuation of the distance. CONSTITUTION:A display base 15 is run on rails 17, 17 by the drive of its drive motor based on a display moving signal D from a stereoscopic video image source 11. Thus, the mechanical distance l is fluctuated and the video image is made coincident at the stereoscopic position. Thus, right/left video images R, L of a house and right/left video images R, L of a mountain are reduced by a display correction means and the right/left video images R, L of the house are made coincident by approaching them and the right/left video images R, L of the mountain are parted. Then the size and display position of the right/left video images R, L of the house and mountain are adjusted. Then at the reproduction of a stereoscopic image, the observer can focus its eyes by a simple means. |
