<p>PURPOSE: To optimize a servo control system in relation to changes in the volume of a cavity by making the gain of a loop automatically and appropriately adjustable as a function of the volume of the cavity during operation. CONSTITUTION: A valve spool element 16 is provided with a position sensor 44, and a fluid circuit is provided with a pressure sensor 46, the outputs from both of the sensors 44, 46 being inputted to control electronics 40. In the control electronics 40, a pressure feedback signal P is varied as a function of gain Kp and a servo valve 38 is controlled by the difference between a pressure command signal and the varied pressure feedback signal multiplied by gain Ke, to vary the gain Ke as a function of the volume of a cavity. Thus, since the gain of a loop can be automatically and appropriately adjusted as a function of the volume of the cavity during operation, a servo control system can be optimized even if the volume of the cavity varies.</p> |
