<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to form a binder for one-pack printing ink applicable to printing on polyethylene or polypropylene film and excellent in adhesiveness and boiling resistance by using a specified polyurethane resin comprising polydimethylsiloxane units as a material for the binder. CONSTITUTION:This binder for printing ink contains a polyurethane resin comprising polydimethylsiloxane units of formula I (wherein n is an integer of 1-1000) and having a glass transition temperature <=0 deg.C. It is desirable that this polyurethane contains 0.01-10wt.% polydimethylsiloxane units of formula I based on the resin solid content. Said polyurethane resin can be obtained by reacting a polymer polyol and a diisocyanate compound with a compound having units of formula I and having an active hydrogen atom reactive with an isocyanate group.</p> |
