The invention relates to a coupling for joining end-to-end two ends of tensioned strands (1) integrally connected to anchoring sleeves (2), which are internally and externally cylindrical and grip them tightly. This coupling is composed of two half-shells (3) juxtaposed transversely one against the other so as to form together a casing for receiving these two ends and their sleeves, the said casing comprising, on the inside, two annular bearing surfaces (5) capable of interacting, for the purpose of axial anchorage, with respectively the two sleeves (2) and being extended at its two axial ends by two narrow flanges (8) which are traversed axially by the two strands and which are covered, in the manner of a butt joint, by two rings (9) ensuring that the mutual transverse juxtaposition of the two half-shells is maintained. <IMAGE> |
