These compounds are agents which have the triple function of initiator, chain transfer agent and terminating agent in the radical polymerisation of vinyl monomers. In addition, these compounds and the multifunctional vinyl polymers obtained by radical polymerisation of at least one vinyl monomer in their presence are employed as additives or as flame-retardant components.
