A contact lens care set with two treatment agents of which one treatment agent is a sterilising hydrogen peroxide and the other treating agent is a catalyst-containing neutralizing agent for neutralizing and decomposing the hydrogen peroxide after the sterilizing treatment of a contact lens, characterised in that the neutralising agent and/or the catalyst for decomposing the hydrogen peroxide are/is combined with a retarding agent which controls the time-delayed release.
