<p>An assembly (38) for the elastic suspension of a motor vehicle axle (40), comprising a pair of longitudinal arms (41) cast from spheroidal cast iron and secured by a center portion (42) to the axle (40), by a rear portion (44) to respective elastic (47) and damping (49) means, and by a front portion (45) to a cross member (54) the ends of which are fitted with further elastic (47) and damping (49) means; the aforementioned arms (41) presenting an enclosed section along the rear portion (44), and an open-bottom section along the front portion (45) and at least part of the center portion (42), for housing and enabling rebound of respective torque bars (60) secured in articulated manner to a bottom portion of the center portion (42).</p> |
