PURPOSE:To attain stable drive having uniform driving current characteristics and high-speed drive by the quick removal of residual magnetic flux by mounting a resistor charging a capacitor at voltage equal to driving supply voltage during a quiescent time. CONSTITUTION:A resistor 20 is connected in parallel with a section between the node Q of a capacitor 14 and a first diode 15 and a grounding point E, a second diode 16 forming a discharge circuit. The capacitor 14 is charged at voltage equal to driving current voltage after a power supply for a device is turned ON or during a quiescent time from the OFF of a switching element 12 to the next printing state. Consequently, driving currents I1 having the same characteristics can be made to flow every time the element 12 is closed and printing is conducted, and distinct printing, driving force of which is equalized, can be performed. A charging time by a regenerative current circuit 13 is shortened. Accordingly, stable operation having uniform driving current characteristics and high-speed drive by quick removal of residual magnetic-flux are attained. |
