PURPOSE:To set connection between respective variable length shift register circuits with the external signal of an IC by providing a switch to link an interval between the respective variable length shift register circuits and a switch to be connected to the respective input and output terminals of the IC. CONSTITUTION:Switches 22-26 are provided to mutually connect and link the intervals of the respective variable length shift register circuits 6-11 and to form a shift register. Further, switches 33-38 to be connected to input terminals 39-44 are provided to prevent the collison of the external signals, which are inputted from these input terminals, and signals to be generated in an internal part. Then, switches 27-32 to be connected to output terminals 45-50 are provided to prevent the collison of the external signal and the signal to be generated in the internal part. The opening and closing of the respective signals is suitably coupled and the variable length shift register circuits 7-11 are formed to the shift register to an arbitrary step number. Thus, the respective switches are opened and closed by the external signal of the IC and the connection of the respective variable length shift register circuits 6-11 can be set. |
