[Also in Division B5] Stamping apparatus comprises a slide, carrying a tool for bending wire or strip and movable in a frame, the slide being connected by pivoted links to levers, rotatably mounted in the frame and linked to connecting rods associated with a crank-shaft acting as a drive shaft. A slide, adjustably carrying a tool 5 and guided by means 6 in a frame 1, is connected by pivoted links 9 to levers 10, 11 rockable about a shaft 15 adjustable in the frame 1. The levers 10, 11 are in turn connected to connecting rods 12, 13 associated with a crank-shaft 14, the throw of which is such that the levers 10, 11 have contrary motion. The links 9 are attached to their levers on opposite sides of the shaft 15. |
