PURPOSE:To decrease reproduction distortions by changing the depth and shape of pits together with tracks to adjust light reflecting conditions so as to meet with a change in average space frequency. CONSTITUTION:The respective pits are so formed as to vary in depth and groove shape in correspondence to the positions of the respective pits in the radial direction of the optical disk medium 9. Namely, the coating conditions are varied along the radial direction of the medium 9 to change the film thickness of a photoresist film 7 along the radial direction of the optical disk 9 at the time of applying the photoresist 7 on a glass plate 5. The depth and groove shape of the pits are adjusted together with the tracks so as to meet the average space frequency of the tracks in such a manner, by which the light reflecting conditions are changed. The reproduction distortions of the optical disk medium are thereby decreased. |
