<p>NEW MATERIAL:A functional unit of human calpastatin which is expressed by the formula, etc., or human calpastatin-like polypeptide containing said polypeptide. USE:Remedy for disease by action of carpine hyperpraxia such as myotonic dystrophy. PREPARATION:For instance, cDNA prepared using poly-AmRNA originated in lever of normal human as a template is connected with a vector and inserted into colibacillus, then cDNA library is screened using fragment of calpastatin cDNA originated in coeur of a pig to obtain a DNA with which a human calpastatin-like peptide is coded. Next, resultant DNA is combined in a plasmid and inserted into a colibacillus and transformed, then resultant transformant is cultured to afford the aimed human calpastatin-like polypeptide expressed by the formula, etc.</p> |
