PURPOSE:To prevent the erroneous operation of change-over, by controlling the change-over of function and transferring change-over function to other function only when change-over operation is continued for a predetermined time. CONSTITUTION:An elapse time measuring means A has a stopwatch counter 12 to measure a time and a measuring start means B controls the measuring start of the means A while an operating state judge circuit judges the operating states of the means A, B to constitute a stopwatch function circuit along with the means A, B. A time counting function circuit 7 informs time or calendar data. When a function change-over switch S2 is operated and stopwatch function is transferred to time counting function, a function change-over control means C controls change-over so that change-over is performed only when the operation of the switch S2 is continued for a predetermined time, when the circuit 8 judges the operating state of the means A or B. By this method, even if an ON-state is obtained momentarily when the switch S2 is touched by mistake during the time measurement of sports, the instantaneous transfer to time calendar function is eliminated. |
