PURPOSE:To restrict the transmission of vibrations between adjacent ink pressuring chambers and to enable stable projection of ink at high speeds, by jointing a vibrating member made of specific material onto a vibrating plate made of specific material and attaching a piezoelectric element thereonto. CONSTITUTION:When a piezoelectric element 18 is added with electric signals, the piezoelectric element 18 is expanded and contracted. As a result, a vibrating member 17 made of material relatively high in modulus of elasticity and attached below the element 18 and, a vibrating plate 15 bonded to the vibrating member 17 are deformed all together inwards of an ink pressuring chamber 13, so that the volume of the ink pressuring chamber 13 is reduced. Consequently, liquid of ink is ejected from an ink nozzle 11. At this time, although vibrations are transmitted through the vibrating plate 15 between the adjacent ink pressuring chambers 3, since the vibrating plate 15 is made of material having low modulus of elasticity, the vibrations are attenuated in the middle of the transmission without causing any bad influences. In addition, since the vibrating plate 15 itself is easy to absorb the vibrations, the reciprocal action between the adjacent ink pressurizing chambers 13 through the vibrating member 17 is actually not generated at all. |
