PURPOSE:To confirm an executable function in a device and a device condition during a transmission without special operation and to selectively execute a suitable processing by automatically making variable the displaying, from a display means, of the device condition and the executable function during the transmission. CONSTITUTION:A display meanws 9 to display the device condition and the executable function during the document information transmission througu communication media 10-12 on a screen, a monitor means 5 to monitor whether or not the display condition on the display means 9 continues for a prescribed time, and an altering means 6 to alter the displaying by the display means 9 activated by the display continuity detection of the monitor means 5 for the prescribed time are provided. That is, the displaying of the device condition and the execut- able function during the transmission from the display means 9 is automatically made variable. Thus, the executable function in the device and the device condition can be confirmed during the transmission without the special operation, and the suitable processing can be selectively executed. |
