PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of a smoothing capacitor by setting an armature current value designated by a chopper and controlling an armature current by a specified voltage irrespective of an applied voltage. CONSTITUTION:The output of an AC power source 1 is rectified by a full-wave rectifier 22, output from terminals 2a, 2b, and supplied to energizing controllers 4-6 of armature coils of first - third phases of a motor. The controllers 4-6 are formed in a similar circuit configuration, have transistor bridge circuits, and armature coils 8a- are conducted by conducting two Trs disposed at a diagonal line. Position detection signal are output by three Hall elements at the positions of the poles of a rotor, and processed by a logic circuit to control the conductions of the coils. The armature current values are so controlled as to correspond to a load by a chopper by ON, OFF of the Trs. |
