PURPOSE:To simplify friction transmission mechanism by making a rotor beltlike. CONSTITUTION:A stator 1 is constituted by putting on top of the inside circumferential surface of an elastic body 2 of hollow cylindrical metal, etc., the 1st-2nd piezoelectric elements 3-4 and sticking them. The 1st-2nd piezoelectric elements 3-4 are divided into a plurality of regions with 1/2lambda width each and processed for polarization in advance so that the direction of polarization in the direction of thickness may alternately be rotated reversely. A rotor 5 is wound around the outside circumference of the elastic body 2 of the stator 1. This rotor 5 is of nonterminating strip and installed across the stator 1 and a pulley 6. The rotor 5 is made of an elastic body (spring steel) with flexibility, while the pulley 6 is of an elastic body such as glass, etc. Deviation force is thereby given to the pulley 6 in the arrow direction, so that the rotor 5 will come into contact with the stator 1 and pulley 6 with full frictional force. |
