PURPOSE:To obtain a sharp color image, by forming thermoplastic magnetic ink as an ink medium from an org. substance showing thermoplasticity, a transparent magnetic body and a colorant. CONSTITUTION:Thermoplastic magnetic ink contains an org. substance showing thermoplasticity, a transparent magnetic material and a colorant. The thickness of an ink layer is pref. set to 1-20mum with respect to the thickness of 1-30mum of a support layer. As the org. substance showing thermoplasticity, either one of wax and a thermoplastic resin or a mixture thereof is pref. As the colorant, either one of pigment and an oily dye or a mixture thereof is pref. In the ink medium having this constitution, since the transparent magnetic material is uniformly dispersed in the thermoplastic magnetic ink of an ink medium, a sharp color image is obtained in spite of being the magnetic ink. |
