<p>PURPOSE: To mold an end part of a solid cylindrical body having an ellipsoidal cross section to a dome-like shape by cutting the end part while transferring the first and second cutters having prescribed contours through an arch-type route. CONSTITUTION: A stick composition in a product 30 is advanced to a position 140 by rotating a grip 70. A preparatory cut part member 82 having an arm 94 fitted with the first cutter 110 having prescribed contours is rotated around an axis 76 through an arc having a size sufficient to transfer the member 82 from a home position 142 to a preparatory cutting position 144 to cut the product end part 140 at a prescribed depth and distance. Then, a finishing cut member 84 having an arm 96 fitted with the second cutter 128 is rotated around the axis 76 in the opposite direction from a home position 146 to a finishing cut position 148 to perform the cutting of prescribed depth, thus the product end part 140 is molded to a dome-like shape.</p> |
