PURPOSE:To evade excessive stress to a nearby developer and to prevent deterioration by making the gap between the sleeve of a magnet roller for development and a separator larger than the thickness of a developer layer formed of a remaining developer to be conveyed on the surface of the sleeve. CONSTITUTION:The gap between the sleeve 22b of the magnet roller 22 for development and the separator 29 is set larger than the thickness of the developer layer formed of the developer which is not passed from the magnet roller 22 for development to a magnet roller 23 for conveyance on the surface of the sleeve 22b, so pressure generated owing to a change in moving direction when the developer is passed from the magnet roller 22 for development to the magnet roller 23 for conveyance is released through the gap between the sleeve 22b and separator 29. Consequently, the developer nearby the area surrounded with the magnet roller 22 for development, magnet roller 23 for conveyance, and separator 29 is prevented from being applied with excessive stress to easily prevent the developer from deteriorating. |
