PURPOSE:To obtain a copolymer by graft polymerizing unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative component to amorphous propyleneethylene copolymer having ratio of propylene component, ethylene component and number-average molecular weight in specific ranges. CONSTITUTION:A 100 pts.wt. amorphous propylene-ethylene copolymer having 71-95mol% propylene component, 5-29mol% ethylene component and 3500-30000 number-average molecular weight is graft copolymerized with 0.1-40 pts.wt. unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative component composing 3-10C unsaturated carboxylic acid, acid anhydride of said acid and ester of the acid (e.g., acrylic acid, tetrahydrophthalic anhydride and diethyl citraconate) to obtain the aimed copolymer. The copolymer is useful as modifier of many resins or many resins having excellent adhesion properties, printability and dyeability. |
