The new direct-connected voltage stabiliser, filter and transient suppressor are controlled and regulated by purely electronic circuits. The appts. is assembled on a print surface of not less than 9cm.x 5.5cm., and supplies an effective output voltage of no more than 230, free from interference pulses. Even particularly severe transients such as lightning have no effect on the output voltage if the burst of current to be conducted away is below 250 amps within a period of 10 milliseconds. In such an eventuality the suppressor acts as a very small resistance during and immediately after occurrence of the transient.
