METHOD FOR PROPAGATING PLANT TISSUAL PIECE

PURPOSE:To continuously propagate lateral buds or tissual pieces containing the lateral buds with high efficiency by tank culture by culturing separated lateral buds of a plant in a liquid culture medium, rearing a shoot, cutting the shoot to provide lateral buds and recycling the resultant lateral buds to the culturing step. CONSTITUTION:One shoot is formed from one lateral bud or tissual piece containing the lateral bud by liquid culture in a tank I and grown to provide a shoot having plural lateral buds. The resultant shoot is then taken out of the tank I and many lateral buds or tissual pieces containing the lateral buds are collected by a cutting means and recycled or transferred to the tank I for use.
