PURPOSE:To prevent molds and a nozzle from being damaged by a structure wherein a speed changing device which reduces the shifting speed of an injection unit just before nozzle touch is provided in a nozzle touch mechanism which shifts the injection unit to a mold clamping unit. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle touch mechanism 5 consists of a nozzle touch motor 12 and a speed reducer 13, which is equipped with a controlling part 11 mounted on the lower part at the fixed platen 9 side of a frame 2, a ball screw shaft 15, which is connected to the output shaft of said speed reducer, a ball nut member 16, which is mounted slidably back and forth onto the under surface of an injection unit 4 with respect to said unit 4, and a proximity sensor 17 for touching, which is arranged on the back of a fixed platen 3 through the travelling locus of an injection nozzle 7. Accordingly, when the injection nozzle 7 reaches the proximity sensor 17 for touching, the controlling part 11 reduces the rotation of the nozzle touch motor 12, resulting in realizing slow nozzle touch. |
