摘要 PURPOSE:To arrange only a reflector as facilities on the ground side and to drastically reduce the cost of the facilities on the ground side by mounting projectors for radiating beams to the reflector and a photodetector for detecting beams radiated from another vehicle and reflected by the reflector on an unmanned carrier. CONSTITUTION:When two unmanned carriers A, B are induced by perpendicular induction lines (a), (c) and approached to an intersecting point X and the slightly preceding vehicle C arrives at a mark plate c1, the vehicle C decides the absence of the preceding vehicle because a photodetecting part 13b does not detect light and lights up projecting parts 13a, 14b to enter into the intersecting point X. When the carrier A approached to the intersecting point X after delayed from the carrier C arrives at the mark plate a1, light made incident on the photodetecting part 13b is detected. Since the carrier C is being entered the intersecting point X while radiating light beams from the projecting parts 13a, 14a at that time, the beams from the projecting parts 13a, 14a are reflected by the reflector 12 and made incident on the photodetecting part 13b, so that a command is generated from an operation controller 16 for an intersecting point control device 11 and the carrier A is stopped before the intersecting point A.
