<p>PURPOSE:To separate a separating pad from a paper feeding roller without requiring a solenoid, etc., by installing an interlocking member which contacts the separating pad by the device of a sheet accommodating device. CONSTITUTION:Sheets S are piled on the intermediate plate 17 of a sheet accommodating device 16, and fitted onto a sheet transport device 15 body, and then the sheets S piled on the intermediate plate 17 are pressing-excited to a feeding rotary body 2. In this case, the joint state between the sheet accommodating device 16 and an interlocking member 29 differs each time when the sheet accommodating device 16 is different, and the position relation between a separating pad 3 and the feeding rotary body 2 is changed. When the feeding rotary body 2 starts revolution, and the sheets are transported, and the separating pad 3 contacts the feeding rotary body 2, the pad 3 assorts the sheets S one by one. When the separating pad 3 does not contact the feeding rotary body 2, in other words, when a thick sheet S is supplied, the separating pad 3 does not form a resistance.</p> |
