PURPOSE:To secure safety for a mechanism of hot water supply by connecting on the downstream side of a check valve in a supply hot water channel a volume expansion device which is actuated by a set pressure lower than the actuating pressure of a safety valve and higher than the pressure in city water. CONSTITUTION:On the downstream side of a check valve 3 a volume expansion device 8 is connected which is actuated at pressure lower than the pressure to actuate a safety value to alleviate rise in the water pressure in a supply hot water channel 7 and higher than the pressure of the city water. As a result the safety valve 5 does not operate to the extent of the water pressure rise in the supply hot water channel 7 caused by later hot water boiling. It is, therefore, possible to solve the problems of wetting the floor by spilling high temperature hot water jetted out of the safety valve 5, suffering from the scald by receiving hot water to the body, and so on. And, when the water pressure is further raised due to abnormal happenings other than later hot water boiling, the safety valve 5 operates surely so that is possible to prevent the occurrence of accidents such as a breakage in a piping 10 and the safety in a mechanism of hot water supply can be secured. |
