<p>PURPOSE:To reduce a production cost with a simple structure and yet to retrain good stapling action by installing a device which grips the edge of a sheaf of recording paper sheet on a bin and drawn it in horizontal direction up to a position where stapling is possible. CONSTITUTION:A stapler 1 and a paper sheet drawing device 2 are moved up and down en bloc by belts 6a, 6b and stopped in the vicinity of a bin 23 on receipt of a signal from a position sensor 15 after a sheaf of recording paper sheet is transferred to the bin 23 specified for its stacking. Then, a feed shaft 22a is turned, a chuck 21d advances toward the sheaf of paper sheet and stops by reaching a position where the sheaf of paper sheet can be gripped, and a solenoid 21c is turned on simultaneously. Next, the chuck 21d closes to grip the edge of the sheaf of paper, and the chuck 21d is returned to its start position still holding the sheaf of paper sheet when a motor 22f is reversed. The sheaf of paper sheet is then horizontally shifted and drawn to the side of the stapler 1. Staplers are punched in when the edge of the sheaf of paper sheet is transferred and stopped at a position where stapling is possible.</p> |
