ELECTRON GAN FOR CPT

摘要

An electrode has three electron beams passing holes arranged in a line in a direction orthogonal to the tube axis. A second electrode opposite to the first with a preset distance between them has three beam passing holes arranged to oppose those of the first electrode. The two electrodes form main electrostatic focusing lenses between respectively opposed holes when predetermined potentials are applied. Each electrode is formed of an oval thick plate, and each hole has a central hole in the form of an ellipse with a major axis equal to the diameter of a semicircle of the outer beam passing holes.
