<p>PURPOSE:To discriminate between an underground buried body, and rocks and other bodies and to survey the burying direction of the underground body by allowing a traction carriage provided with a transmitting antenna and a receiving antenna to move in an optional direction. CONSTITUTION:The traction carriage 1 is towed along a specific survey line y13. At this time, a radio wave pulse is sent from the transmitting antenna 5 into the ground. When the carriage 1 moves to above the buried body 7, the radio wave is reflected by the buried body 7 a received by the receiving antenna 6, and survey data i sent to a device main body 10 through a communication cable 8. The device 10 finds the distance to the buried body 7 and its position and displays them on a device 11 by using a hyperbola. When the peak of the hyperbola is displayed 11, the carriage 1 is moved in every direction about the position P. When the carriage 1 is towed in a direction y' parallel to the buried body 7, the peak continues in the image and when the carriage is towed in a direction y'' leaving the buried body 7, the peak decreases; and this operation is repeated to easily discriminate whether or not there is the buried body 7.</p> |
