PURPOSE:To obtain quiet and vibrationless work vehicle by installing a soundproof type engine unit housing an engine body in a liquid tank for soundproofing at one end side of the work vehicle and arranging an elevation type work device for receiving the power of the engine unit. CONSTITUTION:An engine body 2 is housed in a liquid tank 3 for soundproofing filled with water together with a muffler 22 connected to the exhaust pipe 11 thereof and a radicator 4 is arranged outside the liquid tank 3. A cool water pipe 20 is led from the cylinder jacket 7a of the engine body 2, a warm water pipe 21 is led from a head jacket 8a, the top ends thereof are opened in the liquid tank 3 and water in the liquid tank is circulated in the radicator 4 to be cooled. An engine unit 1 constructed like this is insalled on the rear frame of a vehicle such as a forklift or the like equipping an elevation work device at the front side thereof and a generator 47 as a driving sorce for the elevation work device is connected to a power take-out shaft 43 led from the engine unit 1. |
