PURPOSE:To obtain the subject preparation capable of continuously releasing an active substance when administered to a mucosa in the form of suppository, film preparation, etc., by compounding a hydrophilic polymeric compound, a hydrophilic low-molecular compound, a water-soluble physiologically active protein and a proteinase inhibitor. CONSTITUTION:The objective preparation is composed of 50-150pts.wt. of a hydrophilic polymeric compound (e.g. carboxyvinyl polymer or polyvinyl acetate), 1-30pts.wt. of a hydrophilic low-molecular compound (e.g. oligosaccharide or sucrose), 0.1-20pts.wt. of a water-soluble physiologically active protein (e.g. insulin or angiotensin), 0.01-1pt.wt. of a proteinase inhibitor (e.g. gabexate mesylate or alpha1-antitrypsin) and 0-20pts.wt. of an absorption assistant. The preparation has high releasability of active protein to enable the continuous application of the drug action to the whole body by the application to the mucosa and has extremely high absorbability and bioavailability of the active protein. There is no problem e.g. induration of the administered part caused by injection. |
