摘要

Process comprises (i) preparing two powder mixes, one containing infiltrating material with copper (alloy) powder as the main component and the other having a predetermined composition without the powder infiltrating material; (ii) pressing the two powder mixes into a compact and sintering the compact under ordinary conditions causing the infiltrant to penetrate the infiltrant -free areas simultaneously with sintering. Also claimed is a twolayer valve seat produced by this process.
