The invention relates to a portable information file. It consists of a sheet 1 which bears an exhibition plan and which includes, at the lower part of this plan, a closed oblong cutout 4 forming a button hole, and of a thin rigid pastille 2, substantially circular in shape, onto which a cord 3 is fixed. The washer 1 includes two closed holes into which a loop 3 is threaded, constituting the cord. The invention makes it possible to facilitate the movement of people in a public place such as an exhibition, a trading estate, department store, medical centre, conference halls, amusement parks, etc. <IMAGE>
