The connection device according to the invention calls upon a tubular connection element 20 straddling the junction zone between the two tubular elements 2, 7, 8 to be connected, and designed so as to clamp the facing ends of these elements axially against a sealing gasket 23. It further comprises means providing sealing 25, 3, 3' between the connection element 20 and the two tubular elements 2, 7, 8, a leak-collecting cavity 24 located level with the junction zone, as well as two leak collecting ducts produced in the tubular element 8 and which open out into the cavity 24. The invention makes it possible to collect and possibly to detect leaks arising in the junction zone between the two tubular elements. <IMAGE>
