PURPOSE:To reduce the variance of discharge voltage by providing an additional mechanism bringing the boosting time of pulse-shaped high tension to a fixed time. CONSTITUTION:One terminal of a capacity 32 charged through a diode 31 from a commercial power supply is connected to the other terminal of the capacity 32 through a choke coil 39 as the additional mechanism, the primary winding 34 of an induction coil 34 with an internal resistor 33 and a switch 35. A spark gap 37 with a predetermined space is connected at both ends of the secondary winding 342 of the induction coil 34, and one terminal of the spark gap 37 is connected to a desired electrode from the stem pin 41 of a cathode-ray tube 40 through a series resistor 38. The variance of the discharge voltage of the spark gap can be reduced by bringing the boosting time of pulse-shaped high tension to 600- 1,600X10<-6>sec by using said additional mechanism. |
