PURPOSE:To reform the shape of a rolled material easily, and to improve rolling efficiency, by lowering a camber-leveler provided to the upper part of a table- roll with the aid of an operating device, and pressing the material to the table roll. CONSTITUTION:When the camber of a material 2 to be rolled is found after the material 2 has passed through a rolling mill 1, the operating position of a chamber-leveler 5 is actuated by operating a push button. By this action, the leveler 5 is lowered through a driver 8 by a signal outputted from a position-controller 7. At this time, by detecting the lowered position with the aid of a detector 6, the output of a position controlling signal is stopped when the detected value reaches a set value of height-position. The leveler 5 levels the camber of material 2 put between the table-roll 3 and the leveler 5. After that, the next pass of rolling is commenced by elevating the leveler 5. |
