Process for improving the surface tension of objects made of thermoplastic polymer, characterised in that it consists in dispersing in the said polymer inorganic compounds in the form of porous grains whose pores have absorbed a liquid surface-active agent which does not react with the said polymer and whose boiling temperature is higher than the melting or conversion temperature of the said polymer. Applications envisaged: printability of low density polyethylene films, antimist properties, agricultural films, greenhouses, packaging of fresh fruit. <IMAGE>
