摘要 PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacture of the title element and to reduce the cost and to obtain more superior locking characteristics and reflectance by heating a polymer film under a vacuum or in inert gas under atmospheric pres sure at >=2,800 deg.C temperature. CONSTITUTION:When a polymer is decomposed thermally, it is carbonated in its original shape and the almost whole of it becomes hard-to-graphitize carbon of different structure from graphite. Then the polymer film of polybenzothiazole, polybenzobisthiazole, polybonzooxiazole, polybenzobisoxyiaole, polypyromelliteimide, polyphenyleneisophthalamide, polyphenylenebenzoimi- dazole, polyphenylenebenzobisimidazole, polythiazole, or polyparaphenylene is heat-treated under a vacuum or in inert gas under atmospheric pressure above 2,800 deg.C to produce superior graphite. Those are superior in locking characteristics and reflectance.
