METHOD FOR SETTING PICTURE FORMATION PROCESSING CONDITION

PURPOSE:To easily adjust a picture having high-density sections only by previously storing the calculating equation of a lamp input voltage which uses the surface potential and exposure value of a photosensitive body as variables in a memory after experimentally finding the equation and finding the lamp input voltage by substituting a set value. CONSTITUTION:The input voltage of a lighting lamp at which the picture density to be obtained at every exposure scale division when the surface potential of a photosensitive body is the reference surface potential Vp is found at every exposure scale division about the three color of the three primaries and coefficients Ap and Bp are found by defining the found input voltages in formula I. Then the lamp input voltage necessary to each exposure scale division is found by setting the surface potential to Vp+100(V) and coefficients Ap+100 and Bp+100 are found when the input voltages are expressed in a linear relation. When values of the coefficients A and B are defined in equation II and III by similarly finding the coefficients A and B by changing the surface potential, the equation I can be expressed by equation IV (where, the VL and Vo respectively represent the lamp input voltage and surface potential) and the lamp input voltage can be fixed so that a copying density of a designated exposure value can be obtained at the low-density part of an original.
