<p>PURPOSE:To give a user persuasiveness to an inferential result by retrieving first trouble information on the basis of trouble symptoms inputted, inferring the trouble cause, and retrieving second trouble information, while installing an inferring means for inferring the basic reason inferred as the trouble cause, and also installing an informing means for informing the user of this inferred result and the basic reason. CONSTITUTION:A casual relationship between each trouble symptom and a trouble cause is stored in a first memory means 2 as first trouble information. In addition, another casual relationship between a part and trouble symptoms to be caused due to trouble in this part is stored in a second memory means 2 as second trouble information together with the basic reason. Next, the first trouble information is retrieved on the basis of the trouble symptoms inputted by an inputting means 1, inferring the trouble cause by an inferring means, and the second trouble information is retrieved, thereby inferring the basic reason inferred as the trouble cause. This inferred result and the basic reason are informed by informing means 4, 5. In consequence, a user is able to have yet more reliability to the trouble cause inferred on the basis of this basic reason.</p> |
